August cheer camp

Okay, so here is the plan. We are having cheer camp come to us on August 5-7 at Liahona. They will teach us all the same dances, cheers and stunts they taught at the Salt Lake camp without wasting our time on football cheers we don't need. Because we'll be the only team there, they will also do a lot of unity/team building activities. This is a great opportunity for our squad and will help us a lot through the coming school year. The cost is $150 per cheerleader. We realize that paying for camp this summer isn't possible for everyone and that is totally understandable. While it would be great to have everyone there, we are not making it mandetory. However, We would like to have a fundraiser mid-July to help raise money to at least help in covering some of the cost of camp. If any parents have any ideas or would like to head up this fundraiser please call Millie or Jessie.

Cheer camp

Due to an underwhelming response to being able to attend cheer camp this weekend, we have decided to do a private camp in August. This will give the girls more time to fund raise money and will allow for more girls to be able to attend. We are currently asking parents and cheerleaders to let us know which dates work best for them:

August 5-7

August 9-11

We would like to have the date set by the end of this week, so please call or text Jessie with your vote asap.

The material taught at the camp will be similar to that taught at the camp being held this weekend, but with a larger focus on our skill level as well as activities to build team unity. The cost is $150 and I would LOVE to have a big fundraiser that all the girls participate in before camp to help offset this cost. If any parents have any ideas or would like to head up this fundraiser, please let me know!
